Record Your Activities

This section of the notebook is where you log in the activities you conduct in the production of your crops that are certified organic.

Use the green tabs to select the appropriate page. To record an activity, click the green "Add Record" button. Choose from the lists of Field names, Crops, etc. that you have previously used, or add new names.

You might save time by duplicating entries and changing them. Click the plus symbol plus symbol to duplicate and edit a line. To make changes to an existing line, click the pencil symbol pencil symbol.

Once entered, this activity information will provide a database that will be used to generate your reports for inspection by your certifier. You will also be able to organize and analyze this data, filtering by ranges of years, materials used, crops, fields, etc.

Fertility: Enter in materials and activities used in fertilizing crops.
Field Work: Enter field work activities and the equipment used.
Pest Control: Enter in materials and activities used to control pests and diseases.
Weed Control: Enter in materials and activities used to control weeds.
Harvest/Sales: Enter in the location and amounts of the crops you harvest and track sales of your produce.
Field Plan: Enter in the location of your crops to create a record of where and when crops were grown.
Other: Enter other activities such as irrigation or cleaning equipment and facilities.
