Record Information about Your Livestock Operation
This section of the logbook contains basic information about your livestock operation and the materials you use to produce livestock and related products.
Once entered, this information, such as rations, field names, feed crops, and health care materials will be available to you for auto-entering in other parts of your COG Pro logbook. You may also add farm information while you are logging activity records.
Feed, Meds & Vitamins: Provide basic information on the comestibles, medicines, supplements and vitamins fed to your livestock.
Rations: Define mixes of feed items regularly fed to your livestock.
Fields: Name and describe the various fields you will be using for pastures or feed crops.
Feed Crops: List the various farm grown inputs you will be using to feed your livestock.
Facilities: Identify the various buildings and related operational units you will be using in raising your livestock, including those used for housing, health and sanitation, milking, slaughtering, etc.
Storage: Identify the various buildings used for storing your feedstocks and other materials used in raising your livestock.
Materials: Identify the various materials used in the care of livestock and facilities in your operation.
