Livestock Inventory

This section provides a place to track the inputs and animals in your operation. Use the yellow tabs to select the appropriate page to record feed purchases, herd and flock composition, details on individual livestock, stock sales and breeding details. To record a new entry to your inventory, click the green "Add Record" button. Choose from the lists of Material names, Herd/Flock Id #, etc. that you have previously used, or add new names.

You might save time by duplicating entries and changing them. Click the plus symbol to duplicate and edit a line. To make changes to an existing line, click the pencil symbol.

Once entered, the information in your inventories will provide a database that will be used to generate reports. You will be able to organize and analyze this data, filtering by ranges of years, materials used, specific herds or flocks, etc.

Feed Purchases: Enter in information about the feed and supplements bought for your livestock.

Herds & Flocks: Enter in data about the names and composition of the herds or flocks that make up the management units of your livestock

Individual Livestock: Enter in data about individual animals in your herds and flocks.

Stock Sales: Enter in information about the live sales of animals from your herds and flocks.
