Sales & Shipping
In this section of the logbook, you will keep track of the sale and transport of your finished products. Here you will establish a trail between your handling of the food product and its transport by you or third parties to the customer. You will also maintain a record of your periodic testing of the system to see if you can trace your products back through the entire growing and handling process and register any actual recalls.
Sales Record: Log the sale of your finished products and create a traceable record that will link this produce to its purchasers.
Product Shipping Record: Log the details of how your finished products was shipped and create a traceable record that will link this produce with its distribution to your customers.
Carrier Monitoring Record: Document the sanitary and temperature conditions of the trucks and trailers used to transport your finished product.
Carrier List Record: List all the carriers who transport your products.
Buyers: Maintain a list of your customers and who to contact concerning food safety issues related to the foodstuffs distributed to them.
Recalls: Document your efforts to test the capability of your record keeping system to trace your products back through each step of the production, processing and distribution process for possible sources of contamination. Register any actual recalls of your products and the actions taken.
